ACIP
Continuous Improvement Plan
Eastwood Middle School is committed to continuous growth and improvement to ensure success for every student. Each year, we develop an Annual Continuous Improvement Plan (ACIP) that outlines our school-wide goals, strategies, and actions designed to improve student achievement, strengthen instruction, and support the whole child.
Our ACIP is developed using multiple data sources, including student achievement data, attendance data, classroom observations, and stakeholder feedback. The plan guides how we allocate resources, provide professional learning for staff, and implement targeted supports for students.
For the 2026–2027 school year, our ACIP focuses on the following priority areas:
-
Improving reading and math achievement for all students
-
Closing achievement gaps for special populations
-
Increasing student attendance and engagement
-
Strengthening school culture, belonging, and student pride
-
Expanding effective technology and digital learning opportunities
-
Providing meaningful professional learning for teachers and families
The ACIP is reviewed regularly throughout the year to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to best support student learning.
