I am Mrs. Binion-McCoy your Assistant Principal over Discipline and PBIS. I look forward to hearing ideas for upcoming school activities events.
I have been an educator for almost 25 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and a Secondary Teaching Degree from Stillman College, a Master’s Degree and an Educational Specialist Degree from the University of Alabama.
I taught secondary Science for 18 years. I love to write plays. My husband and I have nine children and 13 grandchildren. My husband, children, and I love to cook together.

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each of you as the 6th Grade Assistant Principal and Athletic Administrator at Eastwood Middle. It is with great excitement and anticipation that we kick off yet another successful year at our school. As we embark on this journey together, I am filled with enthusiasm and optimism for the opportunities that lie ahead. My commitment to supporting our students’ growth, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and working closely with all members of our school community is unwavering.
I look forward to getting to know each of you, listening to your ideas, and collaborating to create an environment where every individual feels valued, inspired, and empowered to reach their full potential.
This marks my 10th year at Eastwood. I previously taught at the elementary level and in a collaborative setting. I am a proud girl dad to Annalynn, enjoy listening to and making music, and you may catch me wearing orange and rooting for my favorite team: The Tennessee Volunteers!

Hello! I’m Mrs. Sterling, and I am proud to serve as the 7th Grade Administrator. This is my 11th year as an educator, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Stampede family!
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the illustrious Stillman College and later received my Education Specialist degree from The University of West Alabama. Throughout my career, I have remained passionate about fostering meaningful relationships and pushing all students to reach their full potential.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, Kelvin, and our two amazing sons. I look forward to an exciting and successful school year with our Stampede scholars!
