At the initial release of the Alabama State Report Card for the 2016–2017 academic year, Eastwood Middle School received a grade of 63 (D). Since then, the Stampede community has remained focused on improving student learning outcomes through intentional collaboration, data-driven instruction, and community partnerships.
While recent scores reflect ongoing recovery from pandemic-related learning gaps, the Eastwood faculty and staff continue to uphold high expectations for every student. The implementation of the House System has strengthened school culture, increased student motivation, and fostered a sense of community that supports academic and social success. Together, these efforts position Eastwood Middle to sustain an upward trajectory in student achievement.
