At the initial Alabama State Report Card release for the 2016-2017 Academic Year, Eastwood Middle received a grade of 63 (D). After receiving this grade, the Stampede community streamlined its focus and started the journey to raising student achievement. In December 2018, Eastwood Middle received a grade of 70 (C). While significant improvements have been made, the faculty, staff, students and community at large have continued to provide excellent instruction for all students which has resulted in a grade of 72 for the latest state report card for Alabama's schools. Over the course of three years, Eastwood Middle has worked to close the achievement gaps created during the pandemic years. Our faculty and staff remain committed to having high expectations for each and every student which will put us in position to continue the upward trajectory of student achievement.
