Eastwood Middle School Dance Team

Team Responsibilities:

• Attending practices and events: Team members are expected to be present at all practices and events, demonstrating their commitment to the team and the sport. 
• Performing routines: Team members are responsible for performing routines in both indoor and outdoor settings, showcasing their skills and abilities. 
• Maintaining discipline and respect: Team members are expected to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate respect for all members of the school community. 
• Supporting the team: Team members should support all academic and interscholastic teams through participation in pep rallies and attendance at other events. 
• Respecting the team's rules and regulations: Team members should adhere to the established guidelines and by-laws of the dance team. 
• These duties are essential for the success of the dance team and contribute to the overall mission of the school or organization.

Cost to Join:

Varies based on years of participation. $15 tryout fee for any interested candidate. 

Practice Times:

Practice is usually held daily (Mon-Fri) from 3:30-5:00.

Application/Tryout Information:

Tryouts are held during the Spring semester. Tryouts are one full week of clinic with the official tryout being the last day. Candidates will learn fundamentals and a routine. They will perform everything they learned in clinic to a panel of judges that will score them. Candidates with the highest scores will be selected for membership.
